We are praying and hoping that we see more workers come to the north west most area of India. We picture Christians coming from different places in India and Bangladesh, as workers on road projects, the railway, and different developement projects that the government is funding. Praying that they will come with boldness and love to share the Gospel. I think persistant prayer is powerful.
Jam 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Phased withdrawal of Central Forces from Orissa to start on Jan.15

Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, India - Jan.13 (ANI): The government would begin withdrawal of its Central Forces from Orissa state's Kandhamal district in a phased manner from Thursday(January 15).
The Central Forces had to be deployed in Kandhmal following the communal violence between Hindus and Christians that triggered after murder of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh leader and anti-conversion leader Lakshmananand Saraswathi.
"A communication from the Union Home Ministry stated that withdrawal of 53 companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Rapid Action Force from Orissa would start in a phased manner from January 15", said Orissa's Home Secretary A.P. Padhi.
"At least 10 companies would be pulled out in consultation with the Orissa police in the first-phase that begins January 15," Padhi informed while adding that "Ten more companies would be withdrawn in February and the remainder by the end of March this year."
